A complete political mess. You can't even watch movies anymore to get away from the mess. It is a straight propaganda film that makes the "white man" the devil while glorifying murder and the terrorist acts perpetrated by extremists. Acting was decent with the exception of Penn. Couldn't decide if he was playing Forest Gump or what?? Story line is like following a series of intertwined strings that all become irrelevant. I could easily edit out about 50% of the movie and come up with a more complete film.
