Intense Human Story, the “body politic” the emotional tense backdrop, against which is set, a love story, a modern realistic update on old 40’s Hollywood movies with a heightening of dramatic content, which Is gripping, & and ending where there Are no “winners”, nothing is resolved. Superbly Acted, underplayed never dumbing down, photographed wonderfully, a soundtrack which is perfect. It’s An Achievement In Cinema’s Ways, of expressing How We Have Share more “common ground” The West & The East, than is generally recognised. It was ever thus. :-) Brilliant Film
