I really like it, although there were many deep and sad confrontations that purposefully took me out of my confort zone, it was also extremely educational and brought awareness to areas that were surprisingly shocking - like the real state involvement.
I also read some negative reviews from black people, mentioning some scenes were unnecessary and exaggerated.
However, I believe we need to talk about all the pain human kind suffered and all the terror was brought to individuals in the name of color, religion, sexual orientation and so on.
Why is it acceptable to expose the holocaust through movies, museums, books for instance, and we get so restricted when is about racism? This is part of our shameful history and shedding some light over it can be informative - at the minimum.
It’s fine if you didn’t like it from a technical perspective but if you got uncomfortable to the point you think the movie should not have existed, it’s advisable for you to revisit your conscious and beliefs.
