Although this show presents everything that is wrong with American churchianity, there is an underlying message of repentance and the freedom that Grace allows us as sinners to find a more meaningful and compassionate road through prayer and self reflection. I have no idea if it was intended ,if somewhat perverse, to contain a Christian message but although very watered down it actually does.
