I love this movie so much. Moonlight tells such an important story, one of the performance of black masculinity, sexuality, love, trauma and the journey of becoming. We don't see enough of that with media including black men (most of which depict fearless bravado) and it's comforting to see the blue represented. Beyond just representation, what a visually pleasing film, beautiful. Based on Tarell's autobiographical work, the cast really made this feel so genuine, love when a movie is brought to life. Truly a deserved Oscar win!♡
