I never saw this movie until today.I loved the patriotic overtones.It was a hybrid of many movies before it ,western,post apocalyptic USA .Part THE STAND part the American Revolution.Loved the references to God and country.Was that Tom Petty I saw man?A little less combiya ending would been nice.Sometimes "tyranny" I spelled it correct has to be squashed.Cried at the part "Ride Postman Ride"remind me of Give Liberty or give me death"Patrick Henry or "I only reget that I have but one life to give for my county" Nathan Hale.I saddens me that only one generation later this movie would be frowned upon, not appreciated, and they not know of any of my references to US history.

I think it was ok thought provoking.Too sympathy for the mother and not enough for the faulsely accused or the innocent child.I imagine Hollywood did not like the references to God and his Grace which made me like it more.
