Wow. Just wow. I've been a fan of MM since Mechanical Animals, really got into Holy Wood, too. I've enjoyed most of Marilyn's work since then to varying degrees, there's a nugget of gold in every album, even if the whole thing isn't a masterpiece. But this new album is up there with the classics. It's got everything from heavy guitars and meaningful lyrics to longer songs and catchy choruses. Great to see Marilyn back in form and producing such high-quality work after everything that's happened. Track one opens things with an amazingly powerful song that gave me goosebumps after one listen. Ehat follows is a terrific album that is hauntingly beautiful and deep. Thank you!
