Same old, same old. We've seen this plot thousands of times in films, but all have done a better job than this one. Dreadful casting all around. Zero chemistry between both couples -- both before and after the partner switch. Stilted dialogue. Predictable plot. And a hideous wardrobe straight out of the 90s. Lohan was an adequate child actor who never grew beyond that -- and this film underscored that ... she was merely adequate. It didn't help that too much botox and buck-teeth veneers gave her face that frozen-mask quality which did her performance no favors. There are many rom-coms out there that are so worthwhile. This, sadly, wasn't one of them.
