Unusual and captivating story line of a beautiful young woman (Demi Moore) living a double life, one nightly in her dreams which take place in Provence, France, and another, daily as an executive in NYC. Romantic. Passionate love scenes. Beautiful scenery. Great actors. However, disconnected. Strange ending. (Didn’t realize until I read a summary that her late husband, led a double life and had a son with another woman.) ??? Really? A mystery to me.

Enjoyed it. Educational. I was not aware of the Canadian war bride program and the government support of the relocation to Canada of British women who married Canadian servicemen and their children in WW II. The transition from living in London to prairie life in Saskatchewan was drastic. Enlightening about life on the prairie.
