I've read the book first and was looking forward to watching the series. I know that encapsulating a novel to a 6 series episode must be challenging but the thrill of the twists were downplayed on the show. They've changed a lot of the characters' personalities on screen and made them completely different. For example, Pip was supposed to be this level headed teen whose love for Barney was a pivoting moment on the book but I couldn't feel it on the series. Looking forward to season 2 still and I hope they give more justice to the characters and storyline.
