Love the show. But when the barn was moved to Apple Valley, that tiny cast iron stove was dwarfed by the room. I would recommend an Inglenook in a room that size. Just a thought.
And I live in a home built circa 1830 in West Bloomfield, Michigan. It was part of the UGRR. I am currently putting together the info to get it listed as an historic home in Michigan. It has those wide plank "pumpkin" colored floors and hand hewn beams and rafters. The attic shows that the old roof system was made of branches. So I just laid a metal roof over it all so as not to disturb the original fabric of the house. I would love Clint to feature the house on the show and make restoration suggestions.
