Remake the original trilogy - but change things here and there - and watch the idiots queue up. I liked Star Wars - Empire Strikes Back is mediocre - I have never made it to the end of Jedi (Stormtroopers defeated by fun-sized Teddy Bears). These remakes/reboots have been a cash grab - they have no heart - no characters - no emotion - and no joy. Avoid unless you get to watch them for free.

As soon as your child hits five years old, put this film on, and enjoy yourself - because they will be so astounded, enraptured, delighted, and fully engrossed. This film is superb. It is perfection. One of the best musical films ever made - if not the best!

It starts well but sags at the start of the third act - before ending in a hurried and unsatisfying way. Which is a shame as it had so much potential. Worth watching once.

Kept my attention - good drama - good mystery - good story - top acting - well worth a watch. If I had a ten year old kid, I'd make them watch this with Speed Racer, also starring Enile Hirsch, another cracking kids film, that seems to have been forgotten
