This record is nothing short of breathtaking. This album is a 10/10 for me... an incredible fusion of raw metal power and orchestral grandeur that elevates every song to new heights. The late, great Michael Kamen’s arrangements bring out layers in these songs I never even knew existed. And then there’s No Leaf Clover... easily the best track on the album. That build-up, that drop, that orchestral swell... it’s pure magic. Metallica and SFSO didn’t just make metal symphonic; they made it cinematic, emotional, and larger than life. Every listen reminds me why I adore this record. S&M isn’t just an album; it’s an experience. God tier record.
