Great movie. Wonderful music, art, and story. I was somewhat caught off guard by the scenes of child abuse I was more surprised that I did not see a warning of it in any other reviews before buying the film. While I of course understand this is anime, things like that can still be triggering or upset small kids.
So, fair warning to anyone looking for why it’s rated PG, it’s because of upsetting scenes of child abuse.
