I really wanted to like this, if just for the actors, but I found it painfully unfunny. It’s trying so hard to be: outrageous, timely, PC/Woke, etc. that the chance for humor are next to nothing. Too bad! And too bad.

Tries too hard to be austere which comes off as dull and uninteresting. Even the performances felt muffled. Not Almodovar quality.
