Watched this on Netflix last night. It fit the bill as far as providing this mild-horror-flick lover with a couple of hours of entertainment, but the last five minutes were a let-down. I had the impression that after authoring nearly two hours of great screenplay, the writer finally felt that it was time to call it a night and rapidly grasp at a way - any way that first came to mind - to come up with a quasi-deus-ex-machina means of bringing the movie to an end.
But while the manner in which the movie ended was a let-down, that didn't detract from the rest of the movie, so for that I'm only removing one star.
