Couldn’t even finish it. It’s a unique story, that’s the only positive thing I can say about it. Maguire rambles on in oddly structured paragraphs that lead to one abrupt sentence of substance. Not that a child would want to read it after two pages, but it definitely isn’t suitable for kids or young teens. In the end I listened to a synopsis on YouTube because I needed to know the story. I wish I hadn’t wasted that time as well. Thank you to the lovely lady who made the video though! Not to mention how many holes there are in the story!
