Episode 1 set up the intrigue, but the more I learned about the main character's back story, the less interesting the series became. The final episode was the slowest, seeming to wrap up about halfway through. So, I was expecting some big revelation right at the end of the episode,
some huge plot twist. There was a twist, but it was tiny and predictable. I did think the dynamic and chemistry between the two main characters, mother and daughter, was convincing. But my biggest issue with the series is that the actor who played the young version of Toni Collette's character looked nothing like her. It was a real stretch of the imagination to think they could be the same person.
