Ironically, this K-drama was in large part about writing and about being a writer, but that is precisely why it was unsuccessful -- the writing was HORRENDOUS. The main reasons why the writing of this K-drama was so terrible is because it was full of ridiculous contradictions. I will give you some examples of what I mean.
Firstly, the heroine of the drama confesses her love to the main male character who simply freezes and does not utter any response, after trying for more than half the drama to attract the heroine's attention. It is just unbelievable that a person would react in such an unresponsive manner after his first love confesses mutual love for him. That hero's unresponsive behavior was carried out in order to artificially create suspense. But nothing about that was suspenseful other than being ridiculously contradictory.
Secondly, after the heroine complains that the hero will not respond to her love confession, and after the hero does eventually admit that he loves her too, the heroine then goes on to abandon the hero and leave him behind in the countryside while she returns to the city. Why would a person confess her love to a man and then abandon him after she complained to him earlier that he was not being responsive to her initial love confession. Again, this abandonment of the hero by the heroine was done in order to create artificial suspense, which is not suspenseful just ridiculously contradictory.
I would advise other viewers not to waste their time on this poorly written K-drama which lacks a coherent plot. It is not worth your time to view this K-drama.
