Great story but the wrong main character. Bruce/ hulk should’ve been in this movie but instead we got the weakest “avenger” as the main character fighting against enemies he can barely handle. It’s barely a marvel movie. Even the black widow movie was more interesting than this. Big missed opportunity here. Imagine an X-men movie but the main character is a dog. Or a dragonball z movie but the main character is yamcha. Or a movie about Harry Potter but the main character is Vernon Dursley. That’s how stupid the “new captain” concept is

Best way I can possibly explain this movie- if you’re a Democrat or left wing; you will hate, despise, boycott & protest this film. If you are an independent, conservative, right wing person or you just don’t care about politics; you will enjoy this movie. My only complaint is that certain parts of the plot seemed a little rushed in turn for some of the comedy zingers- but otherwise- worth a watch.

If you like simple fart jokes & slapstick comedy (which Sandler is known for) then you won’t like this movie. This a whole different type of role for Sandler that isn’t for everyone. You either love it or hate it- that’s as simple as it gets. The movie is kind of a fast pace- not too much backstory or explanation, but Sandler does a great job with his role to a point where you actually start to completely see “through his eyes” & can imagine yourself in the environment. Most movies you can easily predict, however this one will throw many twists at you for better or worse but always intense. Granted- the plot itself is not the best, very simple concept; guy with a gambling problem can’t catch a break- regardless the performance still pulls you in. Granted, the ending gave me a migraine because as I said- you can’t predict what will happen- but I won’t spoil anything. Would I recommend going to the theaters for this? No. Do I think it’s a good movie to watch a Home? Yes. Is the movie for everyone? No. You have to be a person of intellectual proportions & logical real-life thinking to be able to grasp the concept of what makes the movie so good- Hint; realism. Again- though it’s a Sandler movie; it isn’t fart jokes & fornication so probably not an ideal movie for the average “Millennial”
