I would like to thank you for bringing the topic of Alzheimer's to light it is a very difficult disease for any family our family is going through the same thing right now with my mom and my dad has dementia which we know down-the-line he will go down the same path. It is heart wrenching and very depressing to see your family especially your mom which was a matriarch of our family going down this path it hurts our hearts so much,my sister and I are doing everything possible to keep her happy and in her own home no matter how much time she has left My dad is also struggling to see his wife of 62 years not be able to communicate with him the way she used to thru no fault of his own my mom's condition became worse after her 2nd stroke in February they had only given her 6 months but through the grace of God it's been a year this month but I wish with all the power in me that they would find a cure for anyone else that is struggling with this horrible disease. I want to thank the general hospital crew and staff for bringing this subject to light you don't know how much it's very much appreciated may you always be in God's grace for the wonderful writing and staff for doing stories of every subject you do on your show I have been a vivid fan for over 40 years and I will continue to be Warmest regards, Rose Marie Martinez
