Noctis Lucis Caelum

I consider myself as an avid gamer. Been playing video games since childhood but never played any pokemon games before. This is the first pokemon game that I played. Initilaly, I had doubts about the game after reading several poor reviews here. But I still bought the game for my 7 years old daughter & we really love it! We have been playing the game everyday & it has been our topics of discussions for weeks now. Definitely a good way to bond with my daughter. I would like to concur with several opinions here that the game is a good introductions to new fans of the franchise. It's a fun game with easy to grasp mechanics, beautiful graphics, good music and well designed characters and levels. I do realize that a lot of complain about this game comes from veteran or far experienced player as they consider it "easy" or "feels different from the original formula" etc. But for us first timer, we didn't encounter any of those experience. The game still poses quite a challenge especially for my daughter. And it's a joy to see her so excited to catch all the pokemons & evolve it. Plus understanding the strength & weakness of each one of them. Definitely would suggest to have a go at the game especially if you are new to the franchise & has small kids like me.
