A bad western that's not even disguised as a sci-fi because it feels like a bad western video game (with endless senseless quests) but I still had to watch it because it's #@* Star Wars.

Tarantino-esque thrilling/chilling ride if you suspend disbelief and just enjoy. Subtly beautiful landscapes and understated dialogue.

Incredible story, surreal, twisted ... draws you inexorably into the film.

Uniquely combines aspects perhaps seen in separate films, but never before together all in one: 1) heavy-handed storytelling--think sledgehammer/anvil/wrecking ball heavy; 2) hyper-focus on suicide that is NOT remediated by late plot twists (trigger warning!); 3) monotonous casting: beauty queens/kings only; 4) decent acting (which unfortunately does not overcome the may cliches of the film) 5) some fun, but late twists that do not make the first hour worthwhile.
