The core ideas of this book are good enough. Understanding that different people work in different ways, and putting the right people in the right job makes good sense. But the narrative style contained both profanity and talk of god-given skills… it clearly showcased bullying behavior in the workplace, then couched it as “just joking”. And the women in this book are all portrayed as smart college educated women who drop out of the workforce to raise kids, bring cookies to their husbands’ workplace, and serve support roles to the big-thinking men in their lives.
I love books, and especially self-help, growth mindset books. But please, do not buy this one.
