Every so often you open a book and it grips your interest from the first paragraph to the final page. That’s the way I feel about this novel. It has it all: mystery, intrigue, suspense and a very human factor. I think we can all relate to the teenage Sofie, her shyness, love of family. She draws out the compassion in a very real way. Julia’s character is also believable, and the fact that she triumphed in the end is another reading bonus. A truly enjoyable book. I strongly recommend it!
