I will say it's my best IMAX experience of the year. Immersion level is as good as the transformers movies.
I saw sinners in Lincoln square , and this movie in a local 1.90 screen. This beats sinners and mission impossible in terms of providing a good IMAX experience.
I don't know anything about F1 , and struggled to complete a single lap in F1 videogames.
The person who came to the movie with me didn't understand much ,or anything about the F1 terminology, but said it's a very good movie in terms of visuals. She was even holding her teeth and hands with nervousness multiple times throughout those races.
The bright 1.90 visuals and the great immersive sound contributed to this experience .
Whenever there is race on screen , you would clench your fists and teeth ,in anticipation of what chip/stone the car might hit and tumble upon.
The other times ,you chuckle or keep grinning at the light hearted conversations or screenplay. Whatever audio (sounds/BGM/songs) was playing throughout the movie was decent /good and never gives u boredom or headache
Glad that the movie was fully shot in 1.90. and that too a good quality 1.90 movie. Today I realized that :
A sharp +bright 1.9 movie >> Any random 1.43 movie
Update : I wanted to add this point : throughout the movie ,I got the feeling that my retinas were being fed to the fullest (just the right amount ,not more ,not less )
