This is an unbelievably good adaptation of the story and a fitting ode to Poe. The rendition is particularly remarkable for the inclusion of so much of the writer’s work sprinkled across the storyline and bridging the original story with today’s socio-political realities. Absolutely floored by the scriptwriting and pacing, it’s probably the best series on Netflix I’ve watched in a year. Unbelievable work, Mike Flanagan! 👏🏽👏🏽
