If sex and abuse is not your thing stay away. But, if you can just enjoy the show and the story it is a great show. I am actually sad it is only 5 episodes. I was told about this show by a co-worker and not having an expectations or even knowing what I was about to watch I started the series. I was quickly hooked. Yes, sex scenes are over the top, but then we have “50 Shades of Gray”, and the abuse is in your face, but again we have the ID network which proves people enjoy the drama behind much of what is unacceptable behaviors. “The Idol” does not hold back on any of the sex and shame, but there is an amazing underlined story that you are just wanting more; those who I spoken with and who have seen it are all wanting more. Additionally, the entire cast gave it their all and just great performances. Totally enjoyed the series!
