Boring movie full of characters that make terrible decisions and don't speak like human beings at any point in the film. This movie hits so many cliches, it might as well been based off of them instead of an actual storyline. At no point do the main characters act as if they actually want to survive or escape, they continually put themselves in harm's way despite breaking the fourth wall multiple times to tell you how stupid their actions are. The gore looks incredibly fake, the scenes with dead bodies are clearly just mannequins from a random storefront painted red to look like blood. The quality of the makeup is terrible in every gore scene except when the villain is on screen, and even then it's not convincing or scary. There's not a single good character in this movie that you can even latch onto for a moment of sanity and the main characters are absolutely insufferable together. The script for this film is truly abominable. The plot points are nonsensical. The villain does not seem to follow any rules or laws of physics and the film makes no attempt to expand on the actually horrifying aspects of his character (like teleporting, flying, mass murder). Few, if any, redeeming qualities of this film. Tough watch the whole way through.
