I truly LOVED this movie. I didn’t grow up with Elvis Presley music but I learned to love it as an adult. I thought the movie ran a little long and could have been tightened up a bit. (Just my personal opinion) Austin Butler was outstanding as Elvis. I can’t say enough good things about him. Tom Hanks was also very good as Col. Tom Parker. Baz Luhrman expertly directs this gem of a movie. All around a Five Star movie.

I loved it. Set in the late 1800 this is a great movie. Excellent acting.

I have been waiting for almost 2 years to see this movie, I was not disappointed. It is an intense thriller to be sure. Lucas is the boy who watches his father and younger brother descend into madness. The truly fantastic thing about this movie is the superb casting of the characters. Jeremy T. Thomas is outstanding as Lucas. He really understands the part of a young boy watching his father and brother change into the monster. The movie is intense and I literally JUMPED on three different occasions. The ending is good. I kind of thought something like that would happen although I thought it would be Julia who……I can’t wait until it is released on DVD or streaming to get my own copy. Five Stars on this thrilling phycological film.
