Mario kart 8 is better. The driving to the track gimmick sounded fun until you realise you only get 1 lap of the actual track. Single player is not worth playing. The AI is back to its annoying best when they spam items at you. I average 3 blue shells a game which is ridiculous followed by the triple red shell spam. meanwhile when i am in second place all i get are bananas and coins Also the rubber banding is basically mario kart 64 style. Online is fun, but again. I like the 3 lap per track not the long journey and only 1 lap. I reckon an option should be there to elect the track only with 3 laps. So all in all, do not buy if you dont play online you will not have a good time unless a nerf happens to the AI shell spam
