Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are overall pretty good games, there are things that hold it back like some lazy textures or large bugs but everything else is honestly pretty good. The gym battles are fun, albeit you have to face them in a way that doesn't make the game easy. I honestly had no trouble doing this and as long as you aren't leveling up like crazy in-between gyms they should all put up at least a little bit of a challenge. Titan Battles are one of the best parts of the game in my opinion, the fights may be a little stale but I always found a way to enjoy them, and the rewards for completing them make the game much more fun to play. Team Star bases are pretty fun to face, being more challenging than the Gym battles most the time. The story line that follows this part of the game is pretty interesting compared to the normal villain story too. The main story of the game is somehow really good, it might just be me but I had a ton of fun learning the ins and outs of the characters and going through the endgame. It's very different to other Pokemon games and makes up for the bland story of the last game. I definitely suggest getting the game, most of the problems others post I didn't really encounter. Not many major bugs and just a few throughout my whole playthrough. I will admit the graphics are kinda bad but if you stick it through you can find some really pretty sights. Pretty good game 8/10
