Somewhere around page 150, I had to stop and ask myself what this book was about. I finished it to the end and still don’t know. Whatever the main story is that the author tried to tell is lost for this reader. There are several potentially good story lines that begin well enough but soon fade away without resolve. I chose this book for my book club after reading the book jacket. I don't believe it represented the contents accurately.
