*SPOILERS* Lol pretty basic plot, stereotypical type. Nothing overly stands out to me but I like the characters and music. However, I get the frustration of girl falling for most basic boy, ever. Like this the 1st time this girl has let her guard down to feel, why would she do it for a clueless, arrogant prince? They could have given him more "redeeming" qualities for sure. This is one of the few times I wish there had been more signing in the movie lol, like I said i really liked the music. And also, it was unclear that Lenore's immunity had to with an actual curse of her own or was it like.. a metaphor Lol I'm not concerned with the other "political" elements of the movie as others .

I've both read the book and watched the movie and honestly this is one of the FEW times I'll say the movie is better than the book. In the book, Ella breaks the spell of obedience by just refusing to marry the prince. By adding the evil and plotting uncle and the climax of her almost killing Prince Char, just added a lot more excitement and interest to the storyline in my opinion.
