I was gifted this book for my birthday in February and have now tried almost a dozen recipes. They lack detail and good direction, they skip steps, half of the recipes I’ve tested have quantities that don’t match up and have clearly not been recipe tested. I thought maybe I was a bad baker but I did start looking online for recipes (coincidentally some of Nagi’s LOL) and when trying these, I did a lot better. I wasn’t going to ever leave a review but now knowing what has come to light, I’ll be donating the book to a local salvos and spending my money with people who have integrity. The brownie recipe is the worst BTW. And the buttercream needs better instructions, as does the caramel sauce.
