a movie to help start the dialogue on the awkwardness of communicating without sounding like a goofball or even racist to someone not in one's own group.
so many groups of people, different races, nationalities, religions and all voluntarily separating themselves from the other groups. it's how it's always been done. do the people want things to change?
yes. some really do. and this film shows how difficult it is due to the different backgrounds and many people having anger towards others and many also suffering from similar PTSD issues from the violent treatment of other religions or races. still, it would be kind of great to have more harmony. and so what makes that happen? movies like this.
side question - are there any powers that be that benefit financially off the different races of people not interacting ? dividing a nation seems to be an agenda for some politicians.
as far as enjoyability, there were many good laughs. and many uncomfortable moments too. accurate, but uncomfortable.
the woman playing Amira is beyond beautiful.
