While I did enjoy this series it seems to have basically lifted its plot from the earlier Showtime series Weeds with blatant disregard. Aside from that it does manage to keep the suspense fresh throughout, even though [just as in Weeds] this is somewhat tempered by the clear dictate that nothing will ever happen to the main characters despite the fact they are clearly in way over their heads.

As others have already noted, this final season should probably never have been aired. Netflix basically killed the show when they eliminated its main character but at least it could have went out with its legacy intact. It's hard to believe Robin Wright would even allow herself to be maligned by the over-the-top depravity these episodes depicted. The only redeeming aspect of this season was the always brilliant Michael Kelly.
