Derek Evans

An oil and water duo which emulsifies into an effective and entertaining pair. Support acting is superb, especially Robert Lindsay in the early episode, though I did wonder at one point how seriously he was taking it all, his facial expressions were a little ambiguous at times. I wonder if the casting is independently done or the producers have to send away applications from, probably dozens, of first class actors who were clamouring to be in the show. These producers and casting personnel are in the enviable business of fitting the cream of British actors into the strong characters evinced in the unusual and original but believable story lines. First rate TV entertainment.
