Just now watched this 2nd Episode of Joker …. The scoring was everywhere , the theatrical was alright the ending sucked ass ! Joker never gets stabbed and dies that by far was a thumbs down for plot , delivery and even the epic scene of him escaping was a plop … I was thrilled but then Ga Ga doesn’t want to join him to create a family . Walking away tragically.
To much singing scores and anything Batman related can never be a musical … common can anyone see Batman coming out with tapping and singing the late Frank Senotra ???? On What planet … Phoenix and Ga Ga did great in acting the part, story line , script and scoring (music/ Dancing) was wack and everywhere on the directors part . Im only giving a review star of two only because I like the main two actors .
Now I will say the idea of being inside the head of Joker that was epic , the first film gave me a better feel of this feeling of how the health department and government failed him to make him who he is meant to be, not so happy that he doesn’t believe in himself to be the full iconic Joker ,
second episode for me just seemed messy and not holding true to the worlds Joker … terrific performance by That … just didn’t make my Batman Testosterone go crazy for the Haley Quinn of this multiverse… nothing made any since to when he would shower over Gotham and rack havoc on the city , I know it’s based before Batman but still remaining true is so much better than satisfying the minds of bored … Adam West (Cartoonie) but at lease they didn’t come singing a musical … don’t get me wrong Phoenix and Ga Ga can sing … now of any of the other Quinn films I loved the comedy and attitude behind the behavior . This Quinn was bored out of her mind and seemed to not see the phyco part about being Crazy Haley Quinn… Jokers partner in crime !!!!…
So disappointing over all but it’s not Quinn or the Jokerz fought . I say Producers , script and Director they are at fought for this Bit of changing the direction of True Joker to this Puts who with no medication has a dysphoria that causes him to laugh uncontrollably… animation and even Jack Nickerson not did Heath Lecture never gave out this vibe of Jokerz laugh , in light of the face problem …
So great Job , this film isn’t for everyone and that’s okay . Arts of the performance was still worthy it’s only the passiveness of Quinn and the puts of Joker that gave me hope for the ending to be great .
