Max Alvarez

This film feels disconnected and fast paced. There's no time for anything. Things are answered and solved on the fly without much logic or any kind of build up. There were parts I really enjoyed and thought were emotionally powerful. Adam Driver is the best thing in this movie. His acting is incredible and his story arch is well done. There were also parts that were so awfully stupid that they made me squirm in my seat. I have to say as a trilogy, I am disappointed. You can see the glimpses of what could have made these new characters great and where the story could have gone if Ruin Johnson didn't get his hands on the 8th film. Overall, this movie does not respect George Lucas and his universe that created and that we all fell in love with from the prequels to the sequels.
