An absolute gem! The game takes everything you love about doom and doubles down on it while still remaining true to it's core. The levels are very well designed with beautiful visuals and an intuitive, responsive platforming mechanic that works very well. Now the combat, oh my where do i start? The combat is tense, frantic, satisfying and absolutely chaotic! You gotta have your head on swivel as you strategically navigate the battle field looking for openings to attack with the right tool whilst avoiding enemy fire from all sides. Engagements need to be tactically approached for maximum effectiveness. When you pepper in chainsaw and glory kills you've got an absolutely beautiful, gory, bloody dance that is beyond satisfying! This games an absolute 10 in my books and will always hold a place on my shelf and my heart for years to come!!
