Great book for young adults and for oldies like me who have forgotten the folk tales we heard as children. I no longer remember enough Chinese to read the stories written in Chinese in this book, but I do enjoy the stories as translated by the author and expertly illustrated in the manner of the period. Bravo! Every library and home should have a copy - the tales are just the right length for bedtime story telling for a night of sweet dreams of the long-forgotten fairylands in China! Angela
