This was our book club book, and I could barely make it through. It was poorly written and repetitive, and so sappy. I could feel my brain rotting as I plowed through. If not for the book club, I would not have finished it. It also felt like the author just wanted to finish it, so they rushed the last 15 pages to introduce a plot twist and tie it up. For me, the only interesting thing was the story of American pilots flying for the RAF before the US entered World War II and the potential ramifications.
