Act 1 was fine and the actual acting was fine.
Acts 2 and 3 didn't work because the same events viewed from different perspectives killed the suspense.
I felt they did a poor job of trying to create a dilemma with their "lets just attack someone or else we face total annihilation" argument which was so stupid it was painful.
They didn't write an ending. Apparently they wanted to leave it open for us to think about, but it just felt unfinished and unsatisfying.
