Mikey Baughn

Coldplay is the band I credit for being the ones who shaped my taste in music. I was born into their truly unique music and will forever call them my favorite band, but this album didn't capture my attention as much as I thought it would. In my honest opinion I think Coldplay went through a shift in their music during and after A Head Full Of Dreams. What used to be songs that felt relatable, about personal struggles, love and loss, feeling alive turned into preachy pop music that doesn't capture the feel and message as their first 5 albums. Don't get me wrong, Everyday life, Music Of The Spheres and Moon Music all have their songs that I do enjoy but they are very far in between compared to the rest of the music on those albums. I love Coldplay with all my heart but id hate to see the last 2 albums go out with the same hit and miss feeling that these last 3 albums have had.
