Let me start by saying I love this series. Books one through seven are imaginative, the audio play is gripping and entertaining, and the storylines thoroughly imaginative.
Unfortunately, I find this latest offering rather flat, fragmented, hard to follow and relatively un-engaging. In fact, I feel as if Dinniman either changed editors or was preoccupied with other projects. Both are speculative, I know. That’s just how I feel.
