Robin Allen – Google

If you experience clinical depression or know someone who does this is the most illuminating book I’ve ever read describing what depression feels like first hand. AS’s description is dead on. A long book but so fascinating it reads like a novel. It’s written beautifully. This book is the most important book I’ve read to validate my own confused experience. I read it 21 years ago, recommended it to countless people and Drs in the field, and they’ve agreed how their understanding of the pain of depression has deepened.

Was really looking forward to this movie. I watched the clock nearly the entire movie, waiting for something, anything!- to happen or make me care about the plot, characters- or something to pull me through to the end. Bradley Cooper was the saving grace with his part which was amusing- the rest was just a jumble of incoherent scenes. I waited out the 2.5 hour movie hoping for a reward, the only reward was that it ended! Ughhh!
