By far the best representation of Budhha' life and journey.
Indeed the storyline and content is excellent, but more than that, it hits right on the some of our of human emotions, that you cannot tend to ignore.
It leaves with wonderous thoughts and questions, about the way we look at life.
Apart from a spiritual, enlightening and religious side of it, this show also touches on the sensitive and empahetic sentiments.
And to top it all, the background music is spot on. Music has its own language, and in this show it speaks volumes.
Casting for Buddha and Raja Suddhodhana has turned out to be apt.

Beautiful movie, dialogues are excellent. Probably this is one of the first movie by Karan Johar, where the end is so tragic that no one finally ends up in "happily ever after kind". All the characters ends up been alone.
