Diablo II is my favorite game of all time so it pains me so so much to say this, AVOID this game AT ALL COST until blizzard has the multiplayer server under control. They are still using their old D2 server from 20 years ago to run the game and it is PATHETIC. The server has been unstable 24/7 since launch and it just went down AGAIN this morning for the 6th day in a row, with each downtime lasting at least 6-7 hours. On top of the downtime, there has been constant rollbacks. Some has even lost their characters and gears with no way of getting them back. So please, unless you plan on only playing offline singleplayer with no way of playing with your friends (they removed offline coop), save yourselves a ton of heartache and stay away from this unfinished product. Blizzard, I suggest you get your act together before its too late.
