“I am wonderful, I deserve to be wonderful, and I contain multitudes.”
God, this movie touched something deep within me. There’s a reason why I’ve been hyping this up to my friends and family. Mike Flanagan never misses, and having read the novella beforehand, I can confidently say that he totally understood the assignment and got it down to a T!
They completely captured the spectacle introduced by the novella. It was genuinely an EXPERIENCE seeing this movie. This was something special, and I am so glad I was able to witness it in my lifetime. I can’t wait to rewatch it again and again.
I don’t usually write reviews longer than a sentence or two, but damn, this was well deserved.
Thanks, Chuck!
Thanks, Mike Flanagan!
